With regards to the gaffe, I can only conclude that the recipient saw a few big words in the introductory paragraphs of the email and didn't read as far as the bits pertaining to using up all the hot water and leaving soiled underwear lying about. I am confident that the email has been relegated to the 'deleted' folder and will - safely - never be glanced at again. Enjoy the weekend!
