One thing that certainly has not been very consistent recently is the performance of The BlaBla Blogs’ web site. For that, we apologise profusely. After five days of irritating outages, database disappearances, and general non-performance we seem to be pretty much back intact.
That said though, the past weekends’ site hosting shenanigans showed us how dependant we have become on that technologically advanced world that Huxley describes in his cautionary Brave New World. There is no doubt that we expect our technology to work the way it’s supposed to, when it’s supposed to.
The failings of our web hosts in recent times have, as a result, prompted BlaBla to begin the arduous process of relocating the site elsewhere. It wont happen overnight, but it will happen soon. I’ll keep you informed as we progress into a Brave New World all of our own.

I’m out of the office for the next three days and remain sincerely hopeful that the brown stuff wont hit the spinning thing in my absence again – something that seems to happen normally!
I don't want to be spending my evenings fixing things again….
