Emma Watson Casts a Magical Spell over Harry Potter 7 Movie Premiere
The 20-year-old British actress and model, who has played the part of Hermione Granger in all of the Harry Potter franchise movies, trumped all-comers with her red-carpet appearance at last nights’ international premiere of the latest Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.
Held at London’s Odeon Leicester Square theatre, with thousands of fans lining the barricades, Emma blew everyone away when she appeared wearing a black lace mini-dress and sporting her new short haircut. Just how much has she (and her co-stars) grown up over the last ten-odd years of their Harry Potter lives. Here are the three principal actors in a publicity shot for the first HP movie – HP and the Philosophers Stone – which was released in early 2001.

Wow! She has changed. A lot. Any idea what she’s going to be doing career-wise now that HP is all done?
She just finished an indie film called My Week With Marilyn that stars Michelle Williams, Dominic Cooper, Eddie Redmayne, Judie Dench, and Kenneth Branagh. And she starts filming Perks of Being a Wallflower in Decemeber…it’s filming in Pittsburgh. Emma plays the lead female role.

Hot Hot Heat.
I just read that she was under contract which prevented her from either cutting her hair into a style of her choice (or from tanning!) for the duration of the HP series of filming – over nine years. She says the hair cut was one of the first things she did soon after filming ended. You’d think that with all the production money that went into the Potter movies that could have set her up with a wig.
