Leading on from my previous post about the Piquet/Renault crash investigation scandal, it has now been revealed that it was Nelson Piquet Jnr that sung like a canary.

In a “leaked” statement he reveals how Briatore and Symonds told him to crash in order to bring out the safety car.

Now Briatore would never stand for such allegations and he has laid criminal charges against Piquet Jnr and his father, the former World Champion Nelson Piquet Snr.

Alonso on the other hand is denying he knew anything about the crash request.

Sounds to me like there could me more to the whole story than what we are being “leaked”.
