Off to the Top Gear MPH show this evening, so a sort of topical Friday Photo from me today.

This is a racing Morgan Plus 8 (At least I think it’s a Morgan +8!?) belonging to Chris Clarke. The car is on the SA Historic Racing Car Register, and the shot was taken during the Historic & Sports GT race meeting held at the Midvaal circuit in August of last year.

Possibly of the neatest and best maintained racing cars I saw that day, beautifully turned out in a racing green paint job.

OldTimeRacing-MorganTo give the shot the aged look, I applied a sepia filter to the shot, and then used a Photoshop action to create the scratched film look. A bit of noise to further add to the instant ageing process and the result is what you see here.
