Spotted this gull near the lighthouse in Mouille Point, Cape Town. He stared me down as I approached to within a meter or so from him, all the while squawking and screeching at me. I assumed he was asking for a little something to eat, and imagined he was doing so in a decidedly posh voice with just a hint of the Bergie in it.
Jy wet mos wat eke meen, né my bra?
I like the depth in the shot, and was very pleased with the result, especially as I haven’t needed to make any significant changes to it after the fact. Moerse mooi, ek se!

Nice shot! Looks like the gull was still talking you when you took it. I don't understand what he is saying, but I guess it's Afrikans?

LOL!
Can't get the first line translated, but the second one (Moerse mooi, ek se) turns into "Dirty pretty, I say!"
I say indeed. Not quite what I was hoping for.
