I’ve been following Randall Munroe‘s xkcd webcomic for a while now. xkcd is described as “A Webcomic of Romance, Sarcasm, Math, and Language”, and it delivers slices of the cleverest doses of humour available focussing on these somewhat odd topics. (And yes, I’d include the romance bit in that description.)
The simple stick-figure characters belie the intelligence and often geeky nature of many of Munroe’s topics. At times, the humour lies not just in the strip itself, but also in the additional information the cartoonist includes “hidden” in the tool-tip text found when hovering over the comics’ image files.
Here’s a sample, or two:
Clever, sarcastic, geeky. And worthy of a post on this here Interblag thingiemajig of ours. Go get your dose of xkcd now!
